My Secret obsession...

Okay, I admit it, I really like watching sports on TV. It all started when my Papa was watching a Raiders/49er game. I was really intrigued. It was hard to decide which team to root for, my Papa really likes the Raiders and my Mom is a 49ers fan.

At my Grandma's house I got into watching the Olympics. One night we were watching Women's Beach Volleyball and I was rooting for the USA team!

I am excited to see other events in the Olympics!

Papa's New Chair

Another exciting thing happened on our visit to California. Papa got a new chair! It is very handsome and a total Papa chair. On the way home Papa told Mom and I that the rule of the chair was: No Mom or Pinky in The Chair! How rude!!

I think he was just joking though, cause he gets a silly grin on his face when he finds Mom and I nursing in it and he goes and sits on the couch. Also, he hasn't ever kicked us off of it. I am beginning to think that my Papa is a big jokster! My Mom warned me about this!!

Rice Cereal

I have been so hungry! I just haven't been able to get enough to eat so Mom decided it was time to try a little rice cereal. She tried to feed it to me with a spoon, but I'm not ready for that yet. Everything she put in, came right back out!

After that she decided that I might take it better in my bottle and guess what?? I did!! It was so yummy and made my tummy feel so good! Mom says that she will keep trying to give it to me with a spoon until I decided that I am ready to try it. She also got me some yummy carrots, bananas and applesauce for that special day!

My Mom rocks!

California Trip August 18th

This week Mom, Papa and I went to visit Grandma Susie. I loved seeing everyone again and gave out plenty of smiles!

While we were there it was my Great-Grandfather, Octavio's, birthday. Although I did not get to meet him here on Earth, my family knows he was looking out for me in Heaven. To celebrate his birthday we went to a really nice restaurant, Tamayo's. Tamayo was an artist and all of his works are displayed in the restaurant. I was really good during dinner and slept most of the time!

We also went to the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica while we were there. My mom made sure I was propped up in my stroller so that I could see everything! I loved all of the sights and sounds. My Mom and Papa had a street vendor paint my nickname, Pinky, in picture letters. It is really pretty and I can't wait to hang it on the wall in my room! My cousin, Toby, was also in his stroller and he was looking out for me the whole time.

My Grandma has the neatest swings on her porch. My papa held me and fed me my breakfast while swinging!

I also got to hang out with my Great-Grandmother, Emily. She is my favorite because we share the same name!
